The SS Republic, a steamship that sank 100 miles off the Savannah Coast at the end of the Civic War was recently discovered.
The Repulic sank in 1865 with a reported cargo that could be worth more than 100 million dollars.
Experts say if the cargo of gold coins can be recovered, it could become one of the most successful discoveries ever of so-called "sunken treasure."
