The Savannah Music Festival will transform its sultry home city into a worldwide music hub March 21 through April 4, 2004. Nearly 100 world-class musicians representing a multitude of musical genres and traditions will take the stage in this rapidly evolving music festival with a 15-year history.
Over its 15-day celebration, the festival will present a host of musical acts that appeal to a wide variety of tastes - Classical, Blues, Jazz, Opera, Gospel, Southern Alternative Rock and new world beat genres.

Savannah Film Festival Returns October 25th; Showcases 50 Films in 6 Days
Since its inception in 1998, the Savannah Film Festival has focused on enriching and educating an expanding audience, while promoting quality independent films and filmmakers. The festival features more than 50 films, selected from more than 600 entries in the categories of feature, short, animation, documentary and student competition, which are submitted from all over the world. The featured screenings represent a variety of independent filmmakers, while a cross section of workshops, lectures, receptions and special events gives the festival participants an opportunity to meet colleagues active in all of areas of film production.
From feature-length films to two-minute shorts, the festival presents a full range of cinematic creativity. In addition to student work and films by independent filmmakers, past professional screenings have included such notable films as “Amélie,” “Talk to Her,” “In the Bedroom,” “Cool Hand Luke,” and “Waking Life.”

Jerry Seinfeld Brings Stand Up Routine to Savannah
You may not be able to see Jerry Seinfeld's unqiue brand of observational humor on weekly tv anymore, but Savannah fans of Seinfeld will have a chance to see the Emmy award winner on November 1st at the Savannah Civic Center.
The Brooklyn born comedian, who starred in his own tv series that some critics believe is one of the best sitcoms in TV-history, will perform one show only on November 1st at 7pm in the Johnny Mercer Theatre.
