Savannah Jazz Festival is September 20 - 28

The annual Savannah Jazz Festival kicks of September 20th and runs until September 28th at various venues around downtown Savannah, Georgia.

The festival gets underway with the Tybee Big Band Boogie at 8pm on Saturday, September 20th at the Tybee Island Pier Pavillion.

On Sunday, the music continues at the Cafe at Main on Broughton Street in downtown Savannah.

Monday, September 22nd will bring the Larry Golden Quintet to Cafe at Main from 8pm - 11pm.

Teddy Adams and Claude Rhea perform on Tuesday starting at 8pm at Cafe at Main.

The music moves on Wednesday (9/24) to the Telfair Museum as Johnny O'Neal performs. The Telfair Museum is located on Barnard and State Streets. Performance times are 8pm - 11pm.

Weekend events will be held in Forsyth Park. For more information about other events, call 912/232-2222.
