Calhoun Square

Calhoun Square - Savannah Georgia
One of the last squares to be laid on in Savannah Georgia, Calhoun Square was established in 1851 on Abercorn Street between Taylor Street and Gordon Street.

Calhoun Square is named for John C. Calhoun, a politican from South Carolina. Famous buildings on this square include Massie School and Wesley Monumental Methodist Church.
